Digital Marketing Director
Yasmin is a bilingual Egyptian American, with a passion for the welfare of the international community. By the age of nineteen she received two master’s degrees and lived on three continents. Yasmin grew up in Cairo, Egypt, a natural tourist destination with an incredibly rich history. In the ancient city of Cairo, where different classes of people are not separated, but even live side by side Yasmin learned the importance of understanding different perspectives.
Yasmin moved from her family home at the age of sixteen in pursuit of her Bachelor of business Administration in La Tour de Peilz Switzerland. As the youngest person in the classroom she was voted student body president.
The land of chocolate and cheese stirred in her an interest in International relations, she met people from across the globe and unlearned many misconceptions about other nations. It seemed that no matter what country or walk of life her peers came from, they had common experiences and were able to bond.
Yasmin left the cozy little town of Montreux to get a dual master’s degrees in Boston, MA, one in Marketing and the other in International Business. She found that most Americans knew very little about Egypt. She found herself consistently educating people on her region and religion.
It was then that she realized her passion for telling the stories of her world to the west, so that those without a voice may be heard. Yasmin is excited about her position with The Nahmias Cipher Report because it allows her to tell the stories that many in America are not exposed to. She’s determined to make their voices heard.
